Board Exam..
This may be a bit late but I still want to share with you guys some of my thoughts about it..Really, up to now, I still feel over elated and the rush is still there.. Ofcourse I aint hysterically screaming like when I first discovered that I passed.. but you know, I’m just overwhelmed and.. Happy. Sheer Joy indeed
Before the exam..
Yeah, I was like Oh my God, okay.. a few months before the biggest 2 days of my career yet.. and that’s the exam proper.. It will literally unveil my fate. Whooo!! I do get depressed in every disapointing grade per mock exam, and my morale gets a super boost every time I do got a high grade.. so basically, Im just so nerve wracked. I lost 5 kilos through the entire review up to the main board!
I was like always rushing, always working double time.. Ive also read some review books such as the udan and balita books.. just to satisfy my ego..
Honestly, I havent any pressure during my senior year. I was VERY CONFIDENT that I will graduate.. Theres no room for failure and i was like 95 to 100% sure that Ill graduate and I sure did!! NO SWEAT!
But, with the board exam, ofcourse it came to a point that I was like ” Am I really sure that I’ll take the exam this June?? Am I ready?? or maybe Im just rushing too much??” ” like maybe it would be better if Ill take the exam this November??”" THE PRESSURE IS ON!!
Then Came the Exam Proper..
I was assigned at A.Mabini Elementary School (Quiapo) just a few blocks away from Isetan Recto, FEU.. I was nerve wracked specifically during the first part of the exam.. I was like praying and doing the sign of the cross every 20 minutes but I think it somehow helped me boost my confidence..Woohoo. LOL
Up to now, I still dont know how to put into writing how I felt during those 2 days. Mixed emotions, pressured, happy, excited, anxious all into one. Im glad that I didnt explode.
So I waited for almost 2 months before the results came out… July 25 2009, around 8:30 PM. Ofcourse, one of the happiest moments of my life.. I can now officially put those TWO Letters after my name with pride. I earned It..
Daniel S. Confesor Jr, BSN, RN
The exam had a 41.87 percent passing rate. 32,617 passed out of the 77,901 who took the exam.
PS.. As always, I apologize for my mediocre post.. I am still pigging out, so there you go :p
