Virtual Insanity.

After the board exam and the employment training, a big chunk of my social life was cut off basically because I was too anxious to go out and immerse myself into so much fun as I was thinking too hard about the exam results. I isolated myself for a while and tried to be the best bum that I can be.. Ofcourse there were times when I bent my self imposed rules about not going out cause obviously, I need to have a life outside with my friends too… but most of the time, I am just at home, trying hard to be the couch potato king of the year.

My laptop became my bestfriend.. really. I may appear cheesy about bragging this much about a man made boob machine but literally, bumming with my lappy helped me in more ways than one in decreasing the anxiety that I was feeling that time. I was glued everyday.. accessing my mails, chatting with my buddies in which were all bragging about the forthcoming exam results.. face book ofcourse and much more. As a self confessed techie person, I became attached with my lappie.. (Fml, the cheesy meter will explode like orgasm now.) LOL.

I cant remember exactly when did this happened, but I was talking with Mama and Papa about my future voyage of going somewhere.. (I dont want to brag about it..  OK, Im excited about it but it also makes me feel sad as well.. OK . some of you know where I am going..) and they told me. ” Anak, iwan mo nalang yung laptop mo pag punta mo dun, dagdag dalahin lang yan” said my mom. “Bumili ka na lang ng bago ha..” my dad added. I was like “OK, no problem”.. but deep inside I was hurt because I dont want another laptop, I dont know ha, pero this gadget has the most sentimental value for me..hehe :p

Ofcourse, I dont want to make a big deal out of it so ill just try to let go and get a new one when I get there. But then, aside from my real life best friends and friends, Im going to miss lappie as much as I am going to miss my significant others. ( BASAG! ang arte!) Lol.
